9:45 a.m. SB 45, requiring a course in civics for high school graduation.

10:15 a.m. SB 101-FN, relative to enrollment eligibility for regional career and technical education programs.

11:00 a.m. SB 104, relative to career and technical education.

1:00 p.m. SB 103, limiting food and beverage advertising and marketing on school property.

1:45 p.m. SB 43, relative to non-academic surveys administered by a public school to its students.

2:15 p.m. SB 44, prohibiting the state from requiring implementation of common core standards.

3:00 p.m. SB 8-FN, relative to school attendance in towns with no public schools.

Executive session on pending legislation may be held throughout the day, time permitting, from

the time the committee is initially convened.

There are no public hearings scheduled for the House Education Committee. There is a House Session on Thursday 23 March 2017 and a list of bills to be acted upon are in the calendar. (here Please call or comment on your opinion about the bills in question.
